This 1978 Shovelhead FXE is owned by Chris "Moose" Anderson. With a nickname like Moose, you can imagine why he decided to go fat with a bike that is only slightly bigger than a Sportster in its original state. The Indian front end combined with the Sumax "streetsweeper" fenders, extended Fatbob gas tanks, and apehangers give it a look and feel just right for the big guy.

The stroker motor has S&S double plugged heads flowing into the Supertrapp 2 into 1 exhaust, so this bike ought to haul his ass down the road just fine.

Chris is planning to do the paint himself. We'll update the pictures when it's done.

Working together with owner, U.S. Airforce Tech Sergeant Tom Schaefer, this 2004 Fatboy
has turned into one of our favorite projects to date.

The sheetmetal was sent out west to Airea 5150, one of the country's leading custom paint shops, where it was treated to this eyecatching artwork that flows along beautifully with the skull and flames theme.

We built the awesome 120" stroker motor using the stock cases so that all the original numbers match. It sports a 54mm throttle body fuel injection and computer flowed heads with compression releases for ease of starting. Add the Hooker tuneable exhaust (which we nicknamed "Shindiggers" after working around them for several weeks) and a fully programmable performance ignition, along with the stock suspension, and this bike is a reliable, rideable force to be reckoned with.

Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Tom came back from Arizona with a blue alligator skin "Buttcrack" seat by Danny Gray that really set the whole thing off. Very cool!!

This project, at its beginning stages, is owned by Andy Middlestate from Felts Mills.

When Andy's dad, Randy, found a 1981 FLH basket case, they decided to put the motor into this 35 degree rake Paughco rigid frame.

The 81 Flh was a decent bike for its time, but it's an old man's bike (no offense to you guys that still have one). Andy's young. Can you see the "cool" potential in this build?

We'll keep you updated as it goes along.

This bike is owned by our friend Chad King. We based this motor around the HD 95" HTCC system, with a few of our own modifications. When it was finished, it pulled some impressive numbers on the dyno. Check out the chart below the picture!
